We currently have one part-time (20 hrs./week) opening for a House Coordinator at Miryam’s House. This position is responsible for overseeing the community living aspects of Miryam’s House, a transitional housing program for single women experiencing homelessness in Spokane.
The right fit for this role is someone who communicates directly and does not avoid difficult situations, while remaining compassionate and non-judgmental toward participants. They use a strengths-based approach to help participants identify their abilities and areas for growth. They are highly organized, skilled at implementing schedules and routines, and maintain clear professional boundaries that balance firmness with empathy.
